The Turin set of The Last Days of Leonardo Revelli’s Only Son

Filming is drawing to a close on Gli ultimi giorni di vita di Leonardo Revelli, figlio unico, a debut feature by Stefano Grasso (screenwriter finalist for the 2010 Premio Solinas with “Più buio di mezzanotte non può fare”), starring Valerio Mastandrea, Francesco Gheghi and Valeria Bruni Tedeschi.

Porta Nuova Station, the Murazzi del Po, Piazza Gran Madre, and the Cinema Nazionale in Turin are and main locations of the film, on set since last Oct. 20, with a crew that includes a strong presence of local professionals, in addition to the executive production of the Turin-based company Redibis Film.

Written by Massimo Gaudioso, Stefano Grasso, Giuditta Avossa and Caterina Venturini, the film is produced by Lucky Red and Academy Two with Rai Cinema, with the support of the Film Commission Torino Piemonte, and made with the contribution of the Ministry of Culture‘s Fund for the Development of Investments in Cinema and Audiovisuals. Distribution will be handled by Vision Distribution, which is also responsible for foreign sales together with True Colours.
