MIA 2026 Unveils Its New Visual Identity, Designed by Illustrator Andrea Mongia

MIA | Mercato Internazionale Audiovisivo has unveiled its visual identity for the 2026 edition, created by Italian illustrator Andrea Mongia.

Titled Osservatorio (Vantage Point), the artwork reflects the market’s evolving identity as an international meeting place where audiovisual projects, creative talents, and industry professionals come together to develop new collaborations and business opportunities.

The concept draws inspiration from a constellation, with projects, ideas, and talents represented as the stars of MIA’s universe. Their encounters create unexpected connections and new possibilities, highlighting the market’s role in bringing together creativity, industry, investment, and emerging business models.

Through minimalist shapes, luminous colors, and a carefully balanced composition, Mongia translates this vision into a visual narrative built around discovery, movement, and the potential of creative exchange.

Rome Takes Center Stage in MIA’s Evolution

The new identity also reflects an important development for MIA 2026, taking place in Rome from October 19 to 23. This year, the market expands beyond its traditional setting to embrace a network of venues across the city, creating additional opportunities for meetings, networking, and professional exchanges.

Rome becomes an integral part of the visual concept, representing both the market’s established international identity and its ambition to explore new directions. The expansion mirrors a broader shift in perspective, placing projects and talents at the center of an ecosystem designed to support audiovisual content throughout its development, financing, production, and international circulation.

With Osservatorio, MIA reinforces its positioning as more than an industry event: a community where stories are discovered, partnerships take shape, and creative projects find new opportunities to reach audiences around the world.
