Lanterne Magiche and Manifatture Digitali Cinema return to present themselves to the school world at Didacta, the fair showcasing the best of innovation in the field of national teaching and education, which will take place in Florence, at the Fortezza da Basso, from March 11 to 13.
Once again this year, Lanterne Magiche, the regional visual education program supported by Fondazione Sistema Toscana, will be located at the Regione Toscana stand, featuring two panels on March 11 aimed at all interested teachers.
In School with Cinema: Visual Education to deepen disciplinary content and process audiovisual language in a personal way, scheduled from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, the audiovisual language courses that Lanterne Magiche offers to classes of all levels will be presented, strengthened also thanks to the National Cinema and Images Plan for Schools of the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Education and Merit. The panel will highlight how visual education is not only essential to combat iconic illiteracy and foster a critical spirit in new generations who are ‘bombarded’ by images every day, but also for the development of new skills, such as presenting a didactic topic, telling stories with images and sounds, and creating commercials and animations.
It is possible to participate in the panel by registering on the Didacta website, or by sending an email to info@lanternemagiche.it. A certificate of participation will be issued upon request.
Of particular interest to students of artistic and audiovisual schools are the post-diploma activities of Manifatture Digitali Cinema, which will be illustrated in the panel Lanterne Magiche and Manifatture Digitali Cinema: audiovisuals as school orientation and professional training. It will be held on March 11 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM and will be aimed at teachers and operators interested in deepening the professional training in the audiovisual field offered by several innovative paths, based on direct contact with the production world.
It is possible to participate in the free panel by registering on the Didacta website; a certificate of participation will be issued upon request
