It is titled Falcon the new film for the cinema on which Marco Bellocchio is working, centered on the life of Sergio Marchionne.
The project, written by Marco Bellocchio with Ludovica Rampoldi, Andrea di Stefano, Stefano Rulli and featuring Oliviero Del Papa, will be produced by Simone Gattoni for Kavac Film, Mattia Mor for Emotion Network and Rai Cinema.
Filming is scheduled for 2026 and will take place in Italy, the United States and Canada.
“I like the idea (because there is still so much to do, we are only at the beginning),” says Marco Bellocchio, “of telling the story of an Italian, Sergio Marchionne, who challenges two giants, GM and Chrysler, in America and wins. He does not let himself be subjugated, he does not let himself be crushed, his genius, his courage and his managerial ruthlessness save FIAT, which, as the experts said, was “technically bankrupt.” It rises again not only with him but with the active participation of the very young “major shareholder” and the whole family.
