Qube Cinema will serve as Official Content Services Partner of the American Film Market 2026 (AFM), the company announced on October 26. The market takes place in Los Angeles from November 10 to 15.
A Single Pipeline from Mastering to Screen
AFM is one of the world’s leading film sales markets. Each year it draws thousands of independent producers, sales companies, distributors, buyers and other professionals. Hundreds of films are screened during the event, and Qube will handle mastering and localization of that content for theatrical presentation.
Every digital cinema package (DCP) and key will travel through Qube Wire, the company’s cloud-based distribution network, straight to the Theatre Management System (TMS) at AMC Century City 15. By combining these services in one workflow, Qube aims to simplify screening preparation and give AFM participants a dependable route from content preparation to the big screen.
AFM said in a statement:
“Independent producers and sales agents need tools that are powerful, reliable, and easy to use. Qube Cinema’s streamlined workflow gives our community exactly that, and we’re very pleased to be working with them.”
Four Decades in the Content Supply Chain
The deal fits Qube’s wider position in the digital content supply chain. For 40 years, the company has built technology and services that make content production and distribution easier, helping filmmakers, content owners and distributors manage the operational side of reaching audiences. Its work covers mastering, localization, packaging and delivery, and thousands of titles pass through its content pipeline every year.
AMC Century City 15 and the Qube Wire Network
All AFM screenings will be held at AMC Century City 15, a longtime exhibitor partner of Qube Wire. AMC Theatres belongs to Qube Wire’s global network of more than 7,000 connected theaters. Many of these run on Theatre Management Systems from Arts Alliance Media, which Qube recently acquired. This delivery experience, together with Qube’s broader content services, puts the company in a strong position to meet AFM’s screening needs.
Helping Lean Teams Do More
Alan Christensen, Head of Business Development at Qube Wire, said:
“Qube supports the digital content supply chain from post-production through to distribution, with a focus on giving customers the technology and services they need to achieve more with their resources. AFM is a great example of how these capabilities come together. By combining mastering, localization, packaging, and delivery through an integrated workflow, we can help independent filmmakers and sales companies simplify the process of getting their films ready for the screen. Our infrastructure is built to help lean teams operate more efficiently, reduce complexity, and extend their reach.”
The partnership reinforces Qube’s ongoing commitment to the independent film ecosystem, offering technology and services that tackle the practical challenges of preparing and distributing content.
