Emilia-Romagna new call supports Inclusion and Parenting

It contains two important novelties in the Emilia-Romagna Region‘s new call for production support for national and international companies, open until Feb. 27, which Emilia-Romagna Film Commission promoted at the Berlinale’s European Film Market these days.

In fact, there are provisions for both a focus on the inclusion of underrepresented and/or potentially discriminated groups, from the perspective of subject matter, authorship, storytelling and crew, and the eligibility, among eligible expenses, of those for organizing parenting support services, for example, an on-set nursery, to help those professionals who are engaged in long shoots and have to simultaneously manage small children.
“It is an experimental measure, and it will be interesting to see how many will take this opportunity and how they will organize it.” Says Fabio Abagnato, Head of Emilia-Romagna Film Commission.

Emilia-Romagna Film Commission also accompanied to its premiere at the Berlinale in the Forum section, On our Own, a co-production between Indyca Film and the Romanian Libra Film, The film was partially shot between Parma and some naturalistic areas of Romagna, and was received in the Paris cinema with affection, lots of applause and a rich Q&A.
