A dark and treacherous journey that will transform them into adolescents. <br>Presented at the recent <strong>Cartoon Forum in Toulouse<\/strong>, #LeMedie is just the latest title by the Rome-based production company founded exactly thirty years ago by <strong>Maurizio Forestieri<\/strong> which, again in Toulouse, was one of the five studios nominated for Producer of the year at Tributes, the Cartoon awards given for results, companies or personalities that have had a positive and dynamic influence on the European animation industry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The TV series \u201cNefertine on the Nile\u201d, (52 x 11\u2019 episodes) is currently being made in co-production with the French company <strong>Cyber Group Studios,<\/strong> a leader in the production and distribution of programs for kids and India\u2019s <strong>DQ Entertainment<\/strong>. <br>The series is about the adventures of Nefertine, an Egyptian girl, her friend Piramses and her cat Micerina at the time of Ancient Egypt. <br>Production should be completed by the end of 2020. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also in production is a 9 minute TV special \u201cHanukkah-La prima festa\u201d, a story of solidarity and love set in 1945 during the Jewish feast of Hanukkah, or the Festival of Lights, which is scheduled to be broadcast next Christmas on Rai. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Graphilm is also bringing forward the live-action\/animation hybrid TV series project (26 x 26\u2019) \u201cThe King\u2019s Gang\u201d that narrates the adventures of four kids from the present day who find themselves catapulted back into the Middle Ages to fight at the side of a young king, Frederick II, in order to save his life, kingdom and the world of today from darkness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally, the \u201cLa Custodia\u201d project is currently in the development phase, a half hour TV special about the right of every child to dream about their future. The project got a favorable reception from the markets.
