The sixth edition of the Roma Fiction Fest directed by Steve Della Casa, organized by the Regione Lazio, the Chamber of Commerce of Rome, Sviluppo Lazio and the Italian Television Producers Association (APT), closed with very positive results. \u00a0From September 30th<\/sup> to October 5th<\/sup> the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome welcomed around 23,000 visitors, a 10% increase compared to last year\u2019s edition. \u00a0More than 300 stars of Italian and international TV dramas appeared on the pink carpet<\/em> of the Roma Fiction Fest including: Gillian Anderson, Kristin Bauer, Melissa George, Kelsey Grammer, Luca Argentero, Caterina Murino, Giuseppe Fiorello, David S. Goyer, Alexander Skarsgard, Valentina Cervi and Michele Placido.<\/p>\n

There were many Italian TV dramas \u2013 with awards going to the TV movie \u201cPaolo Borsellino. I 57 giorni\u201d produced by Leone Cinematografica for Rai Fiction, the mini-series \u201cIl sogno del maratoneta\u201d produced by Casanova Multimedia for Rai Fiction, and the long-running series \u201cUna grande famiglia\u201d produced by Magnolia Fiction for Rai Fiction, to name just a few.\u00a0 Plus the international premiers of some of BBC Worldwide\u2019s top productions such as \u201cRipper Street\u201d and \u201cGreat Expectations\u201d .<\/p>\n

BBC Worldwide Day and Argentina Day were dedicated to the world of professionals and gave Italian producers a chance to learn more about these production organizations. \u00a0Over 200 professionals took part in the two conferences organized by the Associazione Produttori Televisivi (APT): \u201cPublic resources for drama in Europe and the main European countries” in collaboration with Eurovisioni and \u201cThe Digital Agenda for the development of cultural content\u201d, organized by Confindustria Cultura Italia.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
