{"id":288469,"date":"2021-04-08T09:00:44","date_gmt":"2021-04-08T07:00:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cinema.video\/?p=288469"},"modified":"2026-04-10T03:52:46","modified_gmt":"2026-04-10T01:52:46","slug":"new-rai-formats-soccer-dreams","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cinema.video\/it\/new-rai-formats-soccer-dreams","title":{"rendered":"NEW RAI FORMATS Soccer dreams"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cSogno Azzurro\u201d<\/strong>, the new 4-part miniseries for Rai Uno shows, for the first time, the National team\u2019s months of preparation for the European Championships.&nbsp; It will be broadcast from June 7 to 10 2021, the days which precede Italy\u2019s first match against Turkey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The main location is the <strong>Coverciano <em>Centro Tecnico<\/em> in Florence<\/strong>: this is the first time that a film crew has had access to the center for longer than just the pre- and post-match periods and follows the meets, training sessions, technical meetings and athletes\u2019 meals.&nbsp; These moments, together with interviews with the individual players, the coach and staff, the various European transfers and archive footage, constitute the architecture of a decidedly different format for Rai Uno\u2019s prime time slot which is generally occupied by game shows (currently \u201c<em>I soliti ignoti<\/em>\u201d, the Italian version of \u201cIdentity\u201d).&nbsp; This is the work of the new <strong><em>Direzione Sviluppo Nuovi Formati<\/em> (New Format Development Department)<\/strong>, dedicated to developing and experimenting with new languages, the head of which is <strong>Pierluigi Colantoni<\/strong>.&nbsp; <strong>Achille Corea <\/strong>is the author of theseries together with the journalist <strong>Michele Gambino<\/strong>.&nbsp; It is directed by <strong>Azzurra di Tomassi<\/strong>, the international distribution is by Rai Com.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cSogno Azzurro\u201d, the new 4-part miniseries for Rai Uno shows, for the first time, the National team\u2019s months of preparation for the European Championships.
